About The Work

Painting for me involves an incredible amount of building and piecing together. An intuitive, spontaneous process beginning with blazingly bright and optimistic color. I incorporate texture in my work to create depth of space and movement. Merging abstract and figurative elements each comprised of visual cues to places in my memories. I hope when people view my work that it takes them away for a bit. I imagine my beach scenes and abstracts as another world. It’s a happier world for sure.
